Windows Phone 8 (WP8) Other Storage Fix

I've noticed on my HTC 8x Windows Phone 8 (WP8) that my storage seems filled with something called "other." After some research online, I learned that this is a known issue by Microsoft and that they are currently in the process of creating a fix/patch for it. That said, I have also learned that the app "Shrink Storage", which is available in the store, will address the 'other' storage fill problem as well. As I am writing this post, SHRINK STORAGE is in the process of working its magic to free [hopefully] 3 gigs/GB of unused and unknown other storage capacity. I will reply to this post with an update as to whether or not this worked!
