Problem Converting Music Files

Hey everyone!

I just got my Lumia 928 and am in the process of bringing all my music onto the device (3000+ songs).

I am using Windows Media Player to do the converting to a lower bitrate and sync, and here is where the problem starts.

In my regular WMP library all of the songs are tagged correctly with artist etc. However when WMP converts them, some of them come with Unknown info.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Do you convert in a different format? Otherwise its just WMPs fault, try using some other converting software.

I convert in WMP default format so that the syncing becomes easier than me reformatting new music every time and then pushing it to my phone.


However if this is a fault of WMP then it looks like I have no other choice. I like WP8 a lot, but that was one thing iTunes and Apple got right.
