...said to turn on hearing aid compatibility. Will that actually increase the in-call volume or does that just set the phone so it will not cause interference with hearing aids? I do not wear hearing aids so by setting hearing aid compatibility will the speaker volume increase? Would anyone know of any apps that will increase the in-call volume?

I just use the volume rocker when in-call. The volume is from 0-10, and adjusting it while calling someone adjusts the earpiece/speaker volume.
