Facebook Calendar birthday reminders everyday at 12pm?

What is up with this? I've already turned off Facebook Birthday calendar on my stock calendar app, neither have I asked it to notify me of any event at all, but it just annoys me to no end that everyday it will give me reminders of birthdays of people I don't care about...

It's because your facebook contacts have now been sucked into your Outlook.com contacts, so you'll see the birthdays as part of your Outlook.com calendar.

I went through the calendar and deleted all of the birthdays that I wasn't interested in. Took me a while, but now I don't have my calendar app on the phone filled with hundred of birthdays.

You can also turn off notifications via outlook.com to stop you getting emailed before each birthday.
