Problem with text messages - new sms message replace previous one

Hello everyone.

I've just replaced my old android phone with a new nokia lumia 520 windows phone 8. I and i got an issue which did not exist on android. We are using ippatrol server monitoring system which send us alert SMS in case of some problem. On my new windows phone those SMS replaced by each other (every new sms replace previous one). So in message thread from that number i only see ONE (last) sms. SMS from all other sources works fine and stored as conversation. On android phones or some older phones models everything is fine.

After some digging in internet i've found this article - click - it is a perfect match with my issue.

Are there any options to fix that issue in windows phone 8? Or any other suggestions...

Have you asked the IT department at your workplace to check into this issue? It sounds like it is related to your company's software, since normal SMS from regular carrier networks never behave like it.

Seems like you are right. We notice same issue on latest iphone and android phones. Problem is not solved yet, but for sure it is not Windows Phone 8 unique behavior.
