Text box disappears

I've noticed that on some forums in ie, I cannot reply to threads. The text box is clickable, keyboard pops up for a second then disappears.
I've changed many forum settings, but happens regardless.

Anyone know why this happens?

This is a problem with ie and some sites. Are you running ie in desktop mode? Looking at the full version or mobile version of the site?

Usually desktop mode but I do try mobile as well. Nothing seems to help. And these places are not on tapatalk. Its a rough life
