You have recieved a message from _____ say read or ignore.

Yesterday I was chatting with someone on facebook with my phone. At some point I put away the phone and switched to my laptop. Next thing I know every time he replied to me, I got this annoying message along the lines of "You have received a message from ______ say read or ignore". I said ignore 100 times and it didn't matter. I don't think I would ever use this feature, and I know it isn't limited to facebook. One time I got a text and I got the same thing. Is there a way to disable the read messages feature?

Settings -> Speech -> "Read aloud incoming text messages"

Set to "off"
