Make the Switch from WP7 to WP8?

Hello, I got a question if now would be a good time to switch to Windows Phone 8 from 7. I still have the Nokia Lumia 900, though I'm thinking of waiting up for the Lumia 1520 that has been spotted. I actually do want a pretty big phone, haha.

Are there alot of differences to make the switch now or should I wait in WP7 a bit longer?

I'm also still using wp7 and plan to upgrade to wp8 when my contracts up in January. If you can hold on I would wait until we start seeing 8.1 leaks, which I assume we will start to see in the next couple of months. 8.1 leaks should give us a good idea as to the effort MS is putting into the platform as they have made some bold promises, which I hope don't end up being hollow.

It is all up to you. You can get a Lumia 920 out of contract on eBay for around $300. Then wait to use your upgrade.

That's exactly what I did! Still have my Lumia 900 as a backup in case a cement truck happens to run over my Lumia 920 though.
