Mark Unread - Appear on the live tile?

Hi

I'm new to Windows Phone and am loving it so far! :orly:

One of the only issues I'm having is with marking items unread in email. If my live tile says I have 1 message, then I read it but mark it as unread to come back to later, the live tile then doesn't have a number on it (i.e: I have 1 unread message in the Inbox but the live tile doesn't display this as it's not a 'new' message).

Is there a way to change this?

The live tile counter is the number of emails since the last time you checked. I doubt you can change it.
