As you may know at the beginning of the year Microsoft increased the app download cap on a mobile network from 20MB to 50MB and it has now been increased again. I think it might be 100MB limit now, I am trying to find a 100MB app to prove it but I have found an 83MB one so far which works :) YAYYYYYYYYYY. I have unlimited data so I have been waiting for ages for this limit to be increased although I want it completely lifted for unlimited data plans. If you set unlimited in data sense it should remove the cap but oh well a bigger limit is a start!

I'm stuck on 2G right now, so I can't test this, but you have confirmed this, so that's good enough for me.

Now, to get Microsoft to let us set the limit...
...so it begins.

but still limit is 50mb don't know how some people from India are able to download 100mb file over cellular data.
does this depend on carrier?

Why does Microsoft set the limit? They're not a mobile carrier. I suppose there's a logistical reason, but I cannot imagine what it is. Anyone?

why can they not allow us to pick this ourselves? I have all you-can-eat 3G & 4G data from Three UK. 4G speeds are faster than my fibre connection! how annoying
