Spinning Gears

I have a HTC 8S windows phone and today after installing a recommended update the phone did everything as per usual and when it asked to install the update I agreed and then the spinning gears appeared on my display. After 7 hours I thought that this was strange so I went online to see if there were any issues. I can not power off my phone to reset as the gears come back, I tried the soft reboot and hard reboot with no success. Any help out there?

1.try searching web for "NokiaSoftwareUpdaterForRetail_4.1.0" attach the phone to PC & do as software instructs, it'll help u to restore ur phone
& ur last option to go personally Nokia Care & submit ur device for 1 day, they also do the same
