Microsoft Account "Not up to date"

Four the past 4 months my Microsoft account for mt phone has not been up to date. Whenever I try and update it I get error message 80C805E2. This is a MAJOR problem for me as I run a newspaper and I cannot back up the contacts I have stored on my phone.

i have tried uninstalling all other accounts and that has not worked, I cannot afford to reset my phone and I have tried unticking the "Sink Email" option, none of it is working.

I have the same issue and it is still not fixed.
What I have done to get around the issue is to uncheck the box for syncing my email from my main email account (which is my MS account). Then I added that email address a second time and labled it with a * so I know which one it is. My email now comes through as it should.
Dont recheck the email sync box on your MS account, just leave it as it is, use the duplicate account now. For your contacts, adjust the filter.
