HP Touchpad wireless keyboard and WP8?

Has anyone been able to successfully use an HP Touchpad wireless Bluetooth keyboard with WP8? I have a couple lying around, and I got it to seemingly pair, but nothing shows up on the phone when I type.

Wow! And I thought it was just an issue with this keyboard. How can Microsoft expect their phones to be taken seriously when they don't provide things that 'serious' people need?

What Windows 8.1 device do you have? Surface 2, Surface Pro 2, Dell Venue 8 Pro, Nokia 2520, a desktop/laptop PC?

I don't currently have a Windows tablet but am strongly considering the Surface RT since nowadays they can be had for a great price.

MS should make that happen. Don't they understand features like that opens up the market?

I do have a windows 7 thinkpad (w/ a dead battery so I can't really use it on the go) and currently using a dual-booted TouchPad... the TP is great for all around tasks but for specifically intense spreadsheet & web info processing, I'm thinking the Surface RT will fit the bill perfectly plus the cool factor of getting acquainted with another mobile OS too is there.
