Won't compressed air into the earpiece destroy the little speaker?

I see many people talking about how they shoot compressed air into the earpiece to get rid of dust (mostly the 920). Can't this destroy the earpiece? I remember my old phone had a cracked earpiece, and every phone call sounded horrible! Would hate for this to happen to my Lumia...

I wouldn't do it. I used to blow on the speaker of my Galaxy S Plus and it always made a crackle sound (didn't sound very healthy for the speaker). Now I just use a very fine brush.
