OK, it's a silly question to be honest, but why windows phone 8 has a HUGE portrait to landscape transition time in messaging and internet explorer?
Because I currently own a Nokia Lumia 710 which has a single core processor. Despite of it's lower processing power, it easily has a lower transition time than 1520!!! No, seriously... and the difference is huge, when i switch my phone to landscape mode, it switches the screen in a fraction of a second whereas in Dad's 1520, it takes a complete second to do the same task. And this delay exists in two apps only (messaging and Internet explorer), other than that, 1520 is 10000000 times faster than 710.
And I believe this is a software problem, so does anybody know the answer to this issue?
[EDIT] : Here's the link which demonstrates how fast the transition is in my Lumia 710
