Nokia Lumia phones lock unlocked key break easily.

My phone unlocked and lock button is broken.. And i have lot of friends having the same problems with their Nokia Lumia smartphones.

How old is your Icon?

So far mine seems rock solid but its a fairly new phone.

Is it broken or just being stubborn taking a couple presses to unlock? I found that to be the case after updating to 8.1

Hardware button... Broken... Nokia should specialized the hardware key lock unlocked button for durability. Users always use this key every minute and everytime.

Temporary solution for it.
As most of the user are facing it after 8.1 update so its basically a software issue I guess.
Install system tiles and pin lock phone to your start screen it will help you to lock your device without using lock button.
And enable double tap to wake to unlock your phone(sorry icon user it cant be of help to you)

My phone not software but hardware key...this happened before wp8.1 there is something wrong with the board, because when I press the board it will be ok... I mean welding is broken.
