    Hi,

Im using L920 with 8.0. My question is why there is no option to disable lock screen completely in WP? It is so annoying especially while chatting. Features like double tap to wake-up is also not much use for me because of this limitation. Every time use power button and unlock or double tap and unlock or put screen off to 'never'. Really irritating.

Any solution guys? Please share your opinions about this,

    Thanks,
    Bunty

Battery power.. I think that may be the reason for not being able to disable it. Or make it longer than 5 minutes. Even though my 1520 may have a enormous battery, I can imagine it burning out quickly with that 6" screen..... But I would also like a 30 minute time out length. It could come in handy once in a while.

Am I missing something? The lock screen doesn't kick in while you are actually using the screen, at least it doesn't on my phone.

I agree you should be able to turn it off, but Microsoft even make the lock screen mandatory for desktop Windows 8 where it's even more useless and annoying. I use this feature on my Android tablet because it stays home and there's no point in having the lock screen enabled.
