Google Calendar = no worky (July 21) **SOLVED**

**EDIT: As of 1130AM, the calendar is showing all of the Google appointments. Problem went away.**

Yesterday, everything was fine. This morning, all of my appointments in Google calendar (multiple accounts) have disappeared from my WP8 calendar.

Did I miss a memo somewhere, or is this a temporary oopsie?

(Maybe it's time I migrate everything to Outlook.com, but that's not the question I'm asking at this moment.)

I just noticed all my personal gmail items are gone, but my work gmail calendar items are still there.

Though I've seen before cases where calendar entries disappeared and eventually came back.

Same here, Good calendar synced perfectly fine since i've had my ativ but all entries have completely disappeared from phone calendar app today

I wonder if it's cause I'm still on the old MFE version? I set it up almost 2 years ago now and never changed it since they put the caldav one

Having the same issue. Using WP8.1 on a Lumia 920 and at some point this morning, all my appointments synced from my Google Calendar disappeared--not just all future ones, but all past ones, too.

similar issue.... been using the old sync method forever....
i can get mail, but then i get a sync error right after. did google just kill sync for non business customers period??

I had the same problem this morning. Seems the old ActiveSync/Exchange is not working anymore. The support for CardDAV and CalDAV which should fix this issue. To verify it's working, check at the end of your Google account settings for something that reads like CardDAV or CalDAV. If you don't see it, remove that Google account and add it again.

Worked like a charm for me.

yea it's time to change to carddav caldav... I didn't cause I was worried about google directory search.... but I guess should still work

Looks like the calendar is working again. Didn't have to remove/replace the accounts to get the *DAV settings, though.

without changing anything, my primary calendar is back waiting on other calendars... but again, this has happened before, not too long ago.

Are the CalDAV/CardDAV options only available in WP 8.1? Or is it also available in WP 8? I've been having awful trouble with my Google Calendar recently just as the posters in this thread have.

Whoops, nevermind. Looks like CalDAV/CardDAV was implemented in WP 8 GDR2.

I can't believe it's not implemented on surface RT windows 8.1.... cause my mail app has no address book search unless I'm doing something wrong.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Even on my full Windows 8 tablet I can't sync Google Contacts or Calendar. It's maddening...and really unacceptable.
