Why haven't I got the update for my Lumia Amber?

can't get update from lumia amber

i am from india my nokia lumia 625's version is lumia amber .i can't get update of wp8.1 or any others.how can i update my phone .please help !!

perform a soft reset ( lock key+volume down) hold until the phone vibrates and reboots. try again. good day

A soft reset doesn't help in ALL cases, so stop suggesting that.

OP, you could try using the Microsoft Recovery Tool if possible to see what the latest version for your phone is and install it that way, just be aware that using this tool will wipe the phone completely.
