How can I change the chroma key demo app color?

Flash with chroma key demo app

Hi I trying use the chroma Key demo app methods for choosing a colour, I have distilled the app down so that i can choose a colour and save the picked colour, the problem i have run into is turning on the LED flash while the app is running, all the methods that i can find don't tie in an obvious way because the only activate the LED flash when taking a picture or if video is recording.

I can post links but the code for the Chroma Key Demo can be found on windowsphone-com.

Any help really appropriate.
