Will Windows 10 bring bew apps?

not inherently, but it makes things easier and more compelling for devs, so hopefully that'll help.

Maybe, I think that is what Microsoft's goal is with Universal Apps that can run cross platform (W10, W10P, Xbox, etc). So If Windows 10 grows really large due to them giving it away for free, companies will start making apps for Windows 10, and by minor changes in code, it could be compatible with Windows 10 phone, it would be Microsoft's end goal here.

If this fails, I think it will be the writing on the wall for Windows Phone but, we wont know for 2-3 years to be 100% sure.

If Windows 10 gets a huge market share (PC) very quickly, you could start seeing a ton of apps in a matter of a few months...and if they take advantage of the code for Universal apps, it could be awesome.
