This is the response I got from Wells Fargo in regards to them releasing an app for WP8:

I have received your email regarding the future availability of our
mobile app on Windows phones.

At this time Wells Fargo has not announced any plans to make our app
Windows compatible. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have
caused. We do offer our text banking option as an alternative.

- Both active consumer and business accounts are eligible for Wells
Fargo Mobile access via either Mobile or Text Banking.
- To enroll in Text Banking you do not need to be enrolled in Mobile or

- Wells Fargo does not charge a fee for the Text Banking service however
your wireless provider may charge additional fees for sending and/or
receiving text messages. We recommend you check with your provider
before enrolling in the Text Banking service.

Has not announced doesn't mean it isn't coming. There was never an announcement of an app. It could just as easily be a customer service rep that doesn't know about it or doesn't know what they can say.

We'll have to wait and see.

There was a post floating around on all the big mobile sites in January that wells fargo was being worked on for win8 and would be out very soon. There was even an attached quote from a wells fargo rep saying the same. Well, that was in January and combined with this response, I would say that it's not looking too good. Hope I'm wrong.

I personally wouldn't worry what canned response you get from some random rep. I know of a few times I have had to tell people things were not on the way when I knew in fact they would be along in a few months. Part of NDA etc.

Technically, that app Wells Fargo has for iOS and Android is basically a repackaged browser. If that's what they're bringing to WP, they can keep it. Hopefully they make something along the lines of the other good bank apps on the platform, as their color scheme would look pretty good WP style.

No kidding. I think the OP has exaggerated the subject line about as far as possible without being called out as dishonest. G gives this post a total thumbs-down...

That is really a good advice to us.In connection,If your bank's ATM software puts you to sleep, you should see what Wells Fargo is offering. The banking giant's ATM Cash Tracker system tests an ATM customer's previous transaction history and provides the consumer with customized banking choices and advertising. Wells Fargo is banking on the smooth new design being a big customer draw. Article resource: Financial Advice

It'll come out soon, I'm sure. Most of the other major banks here in the US have an app from what I've seen, it only makes sense that they do too.
