I understand that Nokia wants the Pro Cam app just for the Pureview-branded phones, but still I feel I've been let down. I mean, that app is too awesome:
Pro properties; ISO, exposure, focus etc. easy editing
Stereo audio recording
And most of all: VIDEO EDITING. So Nokia really is saying we won't be able to edit the f***ing videos with our 'not good lumias'. For real, that's the n? 1 thing to me.

Disappointed, but proud lumia 820 owner

My source is wpc saying: "The best part is that Nokia Pro Camera will come in future to all lumia 92x line devices". You'll find that in the article of the video editing feature

Ok take it like this. There is price difference btw 920 and 820. So you are saying that you are disappointed. It would be better if it came to all lumia devices. But since you pay less than 92X range you can't blame Nokia.

No worries, you've still got ProShot! (except for the video editing part... but that's because Microsoft hasn't given devs a way to save videos to the camera roll)

Features include:

Manual adjustment of: ISO, focus, white balance, exposure compensation, contrast, saturation.
Grid lines, histogram, highlight clip indicator, EXIF viewer, custom modes, burst, timer, timelapse

Full disclosure: I made ProShot.

I know the ProShot, I'm using it. And endless thanks to you, it's a super app! But my biggest point is the video editing. I know it's not up to you, devs, but MS. And when suddenly it's possible with Nokia Pro Camera I'm feeling let down.

I understand your disappointment but I do wonder why did you buy the Lumia 820 over the 920 if photography and camera performance were so important to you? That's not a dig in any way it's a genuine question.
If your only concern is that the quick video cropping is not possible then I understand, but you can hold out hope that Microsoft might build something similar into the OS in a future upgrade.

Oh yeah, and glad to hear people are supporting ProShot, that app is so good they beat us at next app star ;)

I chose l 820 because it's cheaper and lighter. Yes, I'm into photography but I have proper gear for that so with 920 I would've had pro cam and pro camphone which doesn't make big sense.
But, still I like good photos with phone, too (that's why I bought ProShot) but I hope you still understand my situation. I do understand now that I should've bet into 920 but still, I'm pretty sad the basic feature like this only comes to "good phones". Even the old Symbians had video editing not to mention Android...
