How long does app certification take ?

I was told by Metrotube about 10 days back via e-mail that they have already submitted an update to the WP store addressing the issue of certain videos that cannot be played. Recently Microsoft announced that they have reduced the certification time to a day or at time even few hours. I don't understand post 10 days why Metrotube update hasn't featured on the store yet.

Well in that case they replied to a tweet of mine about 3 days back saying they submitted it. Still no sight of the update. Now I'm wondering if they are just playing the fool.

My apps (small) have usually taken 3-5 days.

1 hour at the quickest for new apps, updates I am not sure

what i read is, Microsoft is accelerating the certification and publication process. trying to achieve 24 hours target.
