Foap has been around for some time now, but their official app is still not available for Windows Phones. It's about time we made our presence felt!

Monetization - that's what the site promises at least. Upload photos straight from one's phone and if they're good they can be sold up to $10 each, Foam splits the revenue 50-50 with the photographer.

There's PicHit in Windows Phones, but there's always a benefit in having more official participants in the market in the same field. At the very least, Windows Phone users should have the benefit of experiencing the same opportunities and benefits official apps have in other platforms.

How is this different or better than Flickr? Flickr has many professional photographers who are members and provides a way for photographers to be contacted for bookings and licensing of their work.

Photos can be uploaded through a PC in Flickr. Here, you need to use their app, which is only in iOS and Android. This subtle difference changes the market entirely - quality of photos will be different, shots will be different, style will be more interesting and personal.

It encourages those who don't have professional equipment by giving them a fair ground. Of course, nobody is stopping those with professional cameras from copying their professional photos to their phones before uploading them, but those extra steps may just be too much of a hassle for them to make them choose to upload their work in a different photography site instead.
