It could have looked like an iPod Nano with W10 on it. Big deal. It's not looking like that.
Many people would probably cry about how it looks the same like Apple Hardware and would cry about all that other stuff that is not right - like the power of the camera because a small tiny sensor is used.

Other design, other flaws, other people crying.
Big whoop.

I like it. A mix of Nano, 920 and S6 Edge. The Nano shape has always been a favorite. That said, I look forward to the round corners of the 950. Three years of 920 corners digging into pockets and sometimes needing two hands to insert or remove, or just some one handed finesse, has become a thoughtless chore.

This picture left me speechless for a minute or so. It had the same effect that I had when I first looked at a MacBook Pro! It definitely looks something that belongs to the next generation and I hope that Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 look somewhat like this.

Actually, I think that this design is very similar to that of Lumia 730, except with metal casing.

Which is an iPod Nano (aluminum) shape from 2006, and 920 shape from 2012, maybe even a WP7 shape. An extruded rectangle with rounded ends. The 920 has an improvised curved back, long side of rectangle, maybe the 730 does too, never held one.

Looks cool but it seems to be a mixture of htc, Samsung galaxy edge and iPhone.

It also looks like an ultra slim power bank with a screen

I'm not sure what the point is. Should Microsoft now cancel the launch right as it is happening, hire the renderer who has likely never had a phone built and spend months revamping everything?

Not hardly.

This is an old render, by the way, and has been talked about here way before now.

What if? Well, I'd hate it. I hate the light metal and the two-tone weirdness as a whole. I hate the rounded sides. I hate the power button location. I hate the weird gold on the right side (and on the buttons).

I'd hate it. I hate metal phones, they don't look unique at all. I like the polycarbonate Microsoft uses.
