Sunset glow often confuses camera's auto white balance. You might need to manually set the white balance to daylight to get more dramatic orange sky. Also try lowering EV to -1 or -2 as sky was a bit over exposed. Nice shots still for tough conditions!

It probably looks over exposed because I had actually cranked up the exposure. Ha! Like I said, I have very little clue when it comes to photography. Here is one that I took about 5 minutes before the one of my daughter.

You're right. The sky looks better but you couldn't see the cliff which I wanted to try to get.

I've noticed the majority of my photos, particularly outdoor shots, have blurring down the left hand side like this one:

Has anybody else experienced this?
Yes i have the same problem :/

update or hard reset didn't fix it. it is always left (horizontal) or top (vertical) and i always clean the lens. might be a hardware problem.
