I had high expectations for the 920's camera at night, but am simply amazed at how much better it really is. Somehow it's hitting home more having taken the pictures myself.
I was at a local restaurant the other night, and took one photo with my old 900 and one with the 920. Each was taken with flash off, and no settings changes, just "point and shoot". Also, no auto-fix or other post-processing was done on either.

Also, on the way back I took a photo of some distant lit buildings in the dark night with the 920. This would have been a total washed out mess on any previous phone, but even this shot looked remarkably like what I was actually seeing. Once again just a quick "point and shoot" with no settings changes, attempts at standing still, or post-processing:
