I have 4 WP8 devices (2 Lumia 920 and 2 HTC 8x) and all of them suffering from the battery drain problem.
I have tried many options that users here suggested and nothing.
Suddenly one day I saw dramatic increase of the battery performance in one of my devices (HTC 8x). when I tried to recall what I did, I found out that due to another problem I have I set manually the internet APN of my carrier ( Orange / Israel) and from that time I started to get very good battery performance.
With that in mind, I did the same to my other 3 devices ( 2 Lumia 920 and 1 HTC 8x) and the same happened. Great improvement of the battery performance.
I think you should try it and see if it works for you.
I have decided to open new thread and not to put it in the long opened tread of the Battery issues in order that people will see it fast and can do it. Sorry if this my assumption is wrong?
