Has anyone successfully flashed a different firmware on an unlocked international 920? I got mine from UAE, but I'd like to put an AU/NZ firmware on it as some features are missing.

Currently has 1232.2109.1242.1002 RM-821_ME_OpenMarket_VAR244662_Yellow_V9_Red (059R0H2)
I'd like to put on 1232.2109.1242.1001 RM-821_CV_AU_VAR244486_12421_002_Black_V1_Red (059Q9P1)

Also, anyone out there using that 2nd firmware? I think it's configuration ID 96539 in extras+info.

You probably won't be able to flash a different firmware on that since it has different hardware. E.g. the ATT and Rogers ones are listed as RM-820's, everything else is RM-821. I can only assume that the Chinese ones might be RM-822 or such like.

I've flashed from Orange to Country Variant (which is non-branded ROM), but can't see much difference (no Orange logo when phone switching on, no Orange theme, one more option in "network+")

imho, you can flash to any rom variant you want, only remember that for international 920, you must chooce RM-821!
P.S: and what do you mean saying "an unlocked international 920" cause if it's about SIM-lock, I think it doesn't matter. You will neither lock nor unlock your Lumia by changing ROM, so you could even use T-Mobile ROM for Orange locked Lumia

I just said unlocked international to clarify that it was an RM-821 with nothing that would prevent it from working on other carriers.

I think I'll give it a go, the standard CV should be safe I assume.

Forgot to tell you that 059R0H2 is your phone's Product Code so when flashing to CV_AU_VAR244486_12421_002_Black_V1_Red you'll get an info, that "for this softwer version the product code is invalid" (or something like this) so you have to click "continue" and accept this

Oh so you don't even have to modify the product code as per the instructions I posted from XDA? It'll just warn you but let you continue?

did you try flashing it with the CV? I currently have an Orange_Poland firmware variant of the 920 and it has lte disabled on it. Do the generic CV's have lte enabled on it?
