I really wonder what the favourite color of the lumia 920 is, which color did you buy? I bought myself a black one because when I pre-orderd it in the Netherlands I only had the option between black and white.

Early adopters color "Black". Its awesome though!
Wanted a white but 6 EE stores were all sold out so I went for the black. Glad I did - the matte finish looks and feels great. Glossy finishes look tacky and plasticky to me. I'd love the Matte Cyan but it's not available in the UK :(
Yellow! The only color i really wanted, waited and found 1 on ebay for a decent price. Second choice was cyan, and a distant 3rd being red. I wouldnt get black or white at all, no matter what. Whats the point of having an awesome phone that comes in great colors only to have black or white, which comes on most phones.

I tried for a yellow, but got tired of waiting as no stores in all of Dallas had one. Then I decided on red, but realized I'd have to drive all the way across the city just to get it. So, I decided on white. Didn't like the cyan, and black is a boring color for a smartphone anymore.
It's the reason I went with Cyan.
I picked black because its neutral and would match all the color themes even though I like the look of the red and yellow Lumias.

If I had the option to choose a color (not black or white) I probably would have picked Yellow too.
I got the Stormtrooper. Was hard deciding between the Stormtrooper and Pikachu, but as Steve Ridges already mentioned, white does fit all the different themes better and you don't get sick of white as you can get from colours. I really love the yellow one, but I wouldn't want to own it myself! :)
Black! Mostly because I wanted that matte finish. I must admit that the black on black effect of the screen and the Lumia itself is rather pleasing to the eye & makes everything 'pop'.
I got red as my only option was between it and white. I didn't stop to think about theme colors not mixing well when I bought it. I really do like the red, it pops lot compared to standard white. I guess this is benefit of having cases in different colors, so you have options for how your phone looks.
I selected Red as the color preference. Like the other colors, it gets noticed easily and conversations start from there.....
I really like my L920 and have no regrets not continuing down the iPhone path I started in 2010.

Wanted white, but bought the black, no other color in stock and I didn't wanna wait another month. Is the glossy finish really more slippery than the matte on the black?

Wanted a grey, got a black since it's impossible to find a grey one. Once prices drop down enough I'll probably just get a grey shell and keep the black one as backup. I did think about going red or white since those were available but with black it matches every theme color, red with my current orange theme would have looked weird imo
I got a black. Wanted the cyan but was US only. Grey wasn't available anywhere then and Yellow was always out of stock. Red version is not as good as it looks on the web so I got the black instead.
Got black... suits the conservative nature at work. However had the yellow been a matte yellow (not a fan of the glossy) or the grey had been available, I would have opted for one of those color schemes.

I was typing up a tech procedure the other day at work and spelled color that way. My coworkers made it a point to laugh at me for it. I told them to go suck an egg, as I was technical right on how I spelled it.
I got white! I only got it because it was the only one available! Originally i wanted to get either Yellow or Red... Still good enough!

Waited for the yellow, which excited at first but then settled down for the black. The black is offcourse slippery than a friend's white but then no,regrets with with the black.
I originally bought the black and returned it. When the yellow was available on premier a couple weeks ago, I just couldn't help myself. It was the color that first jumped out at me, and I love it.
Got a white because I wanted something different and completely stands out from the rest of my devices (Black everything!). Turns out everyone I see thinks it's gorgeous and they even recognize it as the new Windows Phone which surprised me kind of.
I got the white and I love it. I like the contrast of the black screen and keys and the white case. So many people have come up to me to say things like 'wow, what phone is that? it looks really nice'. I never expected so many people to be interested in it.
I would have liked the red but I don't think I have it in me to bring a glossy red phone around with me, added to the fact it was near impossible to get one when I got my white one.
Yellow for me, because I have had two lumia 800, one in cyan and one in black. But if I had to choose today, I would go for black. The biggest problem with the yellow is matching it with the theme...
I went with the white one. It perfectly matches my white Nokia Lumia/Windows Phone bike. :-D
Just need to find a matching holder for the phone now...

Yellow on AT&T. Took like 3 weeks from the time I ordered it still it arrived. SO worth the wait though. :)

I really liked the cyan version, but they did not ship it in The Netherlands, so I went for the black one :)
Why didn't Nokia made all colors available in every country at launch?
I can't really tell, but what I have heard is that some colours are exclusive to certain carriers.
My white one gets back from reparation tomorrow... I have that feeling that it still isn't working and if so, I gonna bring it back to get my money back!!
As there is not an alternative to that phone I'll buy it again! :P Not sure though if I gonna get it in white again or in another colour, just because I had so much trouble with the white one.. :)
Ive had a Black, White, and Red one and so far (all buggy 920's) the red is the best of the lot. The white however mixed really well with different cases but to be honest there is no need for me to have a case.
I would really like to get a hold of a yellow one. Hopefully i can complain and get one

Stormtrooper with the high contrast theme rocks the house.
I just changed my stormtropper to big bird! It was actually not that hard thanks to the disassembly video posted on wpcentral. You can find the shells on eBay.
I have both a Black and a White. Actually wanted Red but had to settle for Black.

I really wanted a yellow Lumia, but had to settle for a black. A few weeks later I had an offer to change mine for a yellow, but decided to stay black :D
Black, so i could change the theme and cases over the 2 years I'll have it. Tried the white first the same reason but there was an issue with the EE Sims not activating-white wasn't available on any other carrier. Yellow and red looked great but wanted the theme flexibility!!

Black seems to be the best with the freedom of being able to change tile colors. Plus, it just looks "right sexy!"

Currently rocking the red lumia 920 but I want yellow so I will be getting that tomorrow.
I may get the lumia 920 in Cyan idk yet. It would match my surface tablet keyboard.
