I contacted a NCC today and they said it would cost around 12k for the FIXING UP the broken glass/the issue with touch screen.

Hey, this was in Mysore. I had crack in my lcd , got it replaced the same day, just the lcd. Apperently if u r ditiziger is also affected(touch wouldn't work), then the whole front casing should be replaced. Which will cost u 8000/- rupees.

Can you please tell me where did you get it fixed in Mysore?
My LCD is broken and I enquired at a couple of places, they quote around 12k-13k :-(

I'm not from India, I'm from Aussie where everything is expensive but u can pick up screen n digitizer 4 much less on eBay

My LED screen got broken two days back. Took it to Nokia care and they are demanding 11k for the screen to be replaced. If the problem is with both the display and digitizer they are quoting 17k. What the HECK!!!!
A new Lumia 820 is retailing at 20k. This is ridiculous by Nokia. I have got no words to say. I'm pissed off at them.

My phone display is deteriorated, not physically broken. The right side is getting dark...it started at the top and now spreading. What part should be changed...any ideas.

Yesterday my Lumia 820 LCD screen broke :unhappysweat:I went to Nokia care center to get it replaced.

Cost of 820 LCD:Rs.10500
Cost of 820 Digitizer:Rs.8600

Hi . Same is the case with my phone also . I took it to nokia care . They are qouting reasons for that issue, telling that it mite have been pressed hard due to which it happened. and a new screen wil be costing around 5k .
