Poor low light pics post Portico?

It seems that post Portico, I can't take good pictures using flash. If I take one at a complete darkness, flash will turn itself on but it seems like photo is taken too late or too early as it displays very little brightness.

Here is a sample pic, taking a photo of a white sheet is even worse, it's pretty much black

For best results you should turn the flash off for low light photography

I took this picture in complete darkness and center of focus is circle itself. I'm wondering is this normal that ghost effect is visible around circle? When I take picture without flash and only with assisted light then picture is almost black.

Looks normal to me. Every flash on a camera phone has a sharp center so it's expected it will be lighter there. Pretty impressive it's not more dark around the edges if the room was near black.
