how long does it take to reset an L920

i sold my l920 and im currently doing a reset to delete all my stuff my question is how long is this supposed to take? its been resetting for like an hour and a half. i had about 15 gigs used

Nope, that's a sign of brick.

Volume down and power button to be held till it vibrates and restarts.

Hard reset and bricking phone has a sticky pinned to it. While you wait for this to finish, give it a read, you might need it.

I did the 3 button thing and once it reset it started cogging again. I did the 3 button thing a second time and it worked. I tested the phone and I'm off to ship it out and buy something else .
