Possible fix to Lumia 920 dust problem?

After seeing all the dust related problems with the Lumia, would it be possible to use a shield protection like zagg to cover both the ear piece and the top of the screen to seal off those area so that dust cannot enter? It may sound like an elementary style solution but has anybody tried that yet?
