:( Scratched screen. Would a screen protector hide it?

ah man, saw my lumia this morning and its got an annoyingly noticeable scratch. But its not really that deep.
I have had a couple of people tell me a screen protector might hide the scratches. (Yes I'm aware of the irony) but havent ever had a scratch on any of my past smart phones over the last 4 years so seemed safe at the time.

Can anyone confirm this?

Absolutely! I had many micro scratches on my 920, but the screen protector really masked the scratches well! :)

Before applying the screen protector clean the screen with furniture polish letting it dry completely before polishing it off. The silicone in the polish will fill the scratch making it invisible.

I'll be giving that a try when I get home. I have a few small scratches on my phone.

These reports make me very happy that I purchased an Otterbox case for my L920. I cleaned my phone this morning and it still looks the same as when I bought it.
