Charging cord loose?

I noticed that my Lumia 920's charging cable does not seat against the bottom of the phone when fully installed. It seems like there is about a 1/8 inch gap to where I can see the silver shield surrounding the micro USB connector. Is this normal? Or should the cable seat against the bottom of the phone? I am using the USB cable that came with the phone.

Mine's like that too, and loose enough to occasionally lose charging contact. My other micro USB cords fit much more snugly in the 920 with no side-to-side wobble.

I would say as long as your phone will charge with the cable dont worry about it

That's kind of the issue, I have to plug it in exactly right or it won't charge. Several times I have plugged it in and then come back an hour later and it hasn't charged a bit.
