If it's not officially announce it by the end of the week i don't see how they could have it in stores and in our hands before the end of the month.

Trophy was announced 5/19/2011 and released on 5/26/2011, so it wouldn't have to be announced by the end of this week in order to make end of month release.
Given that it looks like it's going to be the same as the 920 except for the flash I would think it would be $99.I'm wondering what the on contract price will be. $199? $99?
$99 sounds right to me. Verizon won't give the phone away as cheap as at&t did in the beginning but $199 sounds high to me.
the REAL question is will it come with a free charging plate like the 920 did
Verizon sold the 8x $100 more because it had qi charging. I feel the same is going to happen this time cause of xenon.
I'm willing to bet $199 price tag.
totally agree. They will sell at $199 to start regardless of the specs being old. Hopefully, Verizon is smart and lists it at $99 to "steal" people away from gs4. They are going to be selling at the same time. Other than fanboys, I doubt our normal droid-sheep's and i-sheep's users will buy the 928 @199 vs an i-phone5, gs4, or even the htc1 at that compared price. Two much competition. It will be disappointing if it releases at $199. I'll buy it either way, but Nokia is a "new" brand to Verizon. They really can't afford to sell it higher, because I honestly think it could lose if they do. They really need to dangle the carrot for new wp8 customers...imo.
If it's $199 and the specs are the same as a 920 I'm not buying. You can get a 920 on Amazon for $19.99.
