I don't seem to be getting app update notifications! Can anyone tell me why?? It seems to have happened after I activated two step authorization

Go to login.live.com with your phone. Under security click on app password. Enter this password you're given into your phone by going to settings>email+accounts>Microsoft account.

That's what you want. Then under App passwords you wanna click on "create app password". That's the password you need to enter into your phone.

lol I did it n its sweet now but this morning I had drama with my email which I somehow fixed, so everything seems fine now thx 4 ur help it was spot on

P.S woke up with 14 updates this AM
