I just read on Visualize Windows Phone’s worldwide spread (video) | WMPoweruser that Ghana gets the second highest score for WP8 interest. shocker! I say that because there is actually advertising for the windows phone here. and by WP, I mean L920. Other than me advertising across 45 countries over the last few years and singing the gospel of wp7/8, most have never heard of it. On the other hand, I see galaxy ads and units for sale in every country. Shocker than when you actually advertise in a meaningful way, you will pique interest. Of course Samsung sells tons of products, but they advertise and place products in every store and in every country. Clearly, windows phone is starting to catch up.
I have been writing the occasional notes from my travels over the years, but this is the first really positive one. Then again, I just drove to togo and they have never seen a windows phone!
