Lumia 920 No 4G Option

Hi,
My Lumia 920.1 not have 4G option. I try with flashing firmware belgium and Aus (other user verfy usning same frimware they got 4g option) this all firmwares 4g unlock ones. i bought from my operator 4g active sim and manualy created access point selecting LTE but not getting 4G option only availble 2g and 3g. and field test showing 4g and LTE but selecting and phone restart noting. I'm my mobile box not showing any thing about LTE or 4g. please tell me how i active 4g and this mobie is availble 4g or this only 3g phone. I need to know

You missed out the one important piece of information. If the operator is CV-GB (i.e. an unlocked GB model) these don't ship with a 4g-activated firmware, but are apparently being upgraded at some point in the future. ... yep, totally stupid I know

I think this is unbranded .. is it correct? original firmware Thailand I flash with Finland firmware. any way to activate 4g?

I use Nokia Software Updater for Retail 3.0.4 to upgrade to 1314 last night.
Firmware revision number (about): 1232.5962.1314.0002
These are my Lumia 920 information (extras+info).

What surprise me is I have a 4G enable option in Cellular.
If anyone want to find the unbranded with 4G option, try Thai firmware.

I bought a UK unlocked lumia, from a UK retailer and I can't get 4G, despite it being '4G ready' or whatever marketing nonsense they use.

Nothing to do with region, it's just bad craic.

I don't think an Amber rom has been released yet for the CV_GB version? What I'd like to know is what is the hold up with the 4G release on the unbranded ROM. The fact is that the UK had 4G with EE back in November on sim only which is the same time sim free 920's went on sale in the UK! I can put my EE sim in an unlocked UK Vodafone 920 and use 4G even though Vodafone have not launched their 4G service yet.
Even the unbranded 925 which was only launched a couple of months ago does not support 4G, so under what set of circumstances will Nokia sim free handsets support 4G in the UK?
When I brought my first HD Ready TV it worked with the first HD device I connected to it, I did not have to wait for Sony to "Enable HD".
In his post above Huime said "I Dont really get why people complain about missing feature in the product they bought which clear did not cater for their region." Still today I could purchase a 920 When 4G is available in the UK but as yet Nokia have not allowed their handsets brought sim free to use the available feature!

Hi. Thanks for this info. I bought a yelllow unlocked 920 from amazon. I do not get 4g. My model is the RM-821 im_mea3_497.
If I were to load the Thai firmware I would get the 4g option?
If so, how do I go about doing this? I have Nokia care suite installed. I am a bit of a noob in this area.
