Terrible earpiece sound quality

I just exchanged a Lumia 920 through AT&T for another device because when I would talk to people on the phone no matter what volume I had the earpiece on it would sound tinny and as though the speaker had blown. So with my replacement device I was not having this issue and then just yesterday it started sounding the same as the device I just replaced! Does anybody else have really poor sound quality with the earpiece on their 920, and is this a common issue?

I don't have poor sound quality, but i'm definitely not happy with the sound loudness of the earpiece on my black 920.
Also not happy with the loudspeaker volume.
