Issues with sensitive gyroscope

Experts! I have the HTC 8X and an issue with the gyroscope or whatever that sensor is called that you can sometimes feel moving as you tilt the phone around..... I think. While working with the phone regardless if its in landscape or portrait mode working with email, Skyping, browsing etc slightest movement makes the phone screen jump to a page or two usually to the Bing search page(the page the comes up when you tap the magnifying glass on the bottom right). Have been learning to live with it but its recently becoming very annoying as I learn to use my phone :smile: and its not only my phone. My wife has the same phone but hers is not that sensitive but I see it happen once in a while with hers too. Checked Settings but there are no settings that I can change.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Are you sure? 8x doesn't have a gyroscope.

Ok its the accelerometer then and if that's not it, its the thingamabob that I've described that does that function that's too sensitive
