when yo go to your pictures hub, the backgrounds album does not show in there, the only way to see what's inside is via the lock screen menu, is there a way to enable that album to show in the picture hub?

    thanks

are you talking about the "official wallpapers"? if so, you can't. I was able to mimic that album by taking a screenshot of each of those wallpapers (you have to crop them) then creating a album in SkyDrive. Problem solved.

The official backgrounds (as in the ones that come pre-installed) show up as a separate album in my album hub (lumia 920 t-mobile uk)

Not sure if they always did though, as i don't use them but i do have alot of photo editing apps on my phone.

Try installing stuff like hd picture viewer. That might show it for you.
