Internet Sharing enabled by accident?

So the other day I made my day into the internet sharing section of settings menu, and to my surprise, I could enable it even though I'm not currently paying for it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Which phone, which network, what firmware, with or without access point?

Lumia 920 on AT&T, firmware 1314. Not sure what an access point is... Thanks for the help!

Access point is a nokia system app for lumias to configure/set your mms/data apn settings.

If you're on an AT&T mobile share plan or the regular 5GB plan, then internet sharing is automatically enabled.

I use it to connect my Surface everyday... works great!

Really! That would explain it. I recently switched to a shared data plan, so that's probably what's going on. Thanks!
