Checked with Verizon, and the text reply to call only works of caller is in your contact list. Software update needed from Nokia.

Call Verizon back and get another rep. That makes absolutely no sense. Probably needs to have your account re-provisioned.

that's true, text reply only works with contacts already in your contacts list. This has been on the forums for months.

So if you get a call from someone not in your contact list, how does the phone know if it's a mobile phone caller, capable of receive a text?
