New to windows.. help in getting off with best of it..

Hi i am new to windows phone ( earlier android user) got my nokia lumia 720 but i am finding difficult to get pally with it. Also finding apps is difficult there. I nneded a good media player which plays most of the files ( something like MX player) its not seems to be there.

1) I would like to know the must have apps,games and one best audio player to play music and one best video player to play all sorts and formats of videos.
