Hi! I was given a Nokia Lumia 920 from a friend. It is brand new and unused. I'm just wondering, I was given the phone in Finland, would it work if I took it home to England and used it there?

Thanks,

Dane

as long as its unlocked then you should be fine. There are only 3 variants of the Lumia 920, one for the US (RM-820), the International model (RM-821), and the Chinese model (RM-822). If yours is the RM-821 version, you should have no problems. Check on the box to find out the product variant.

Hi, thanks for the replies. I cant see rm-*** anywhere on there box, but im assuming it is 821. As for the bands of the device, I have no idea what that means? Im quite the technophobe! :)

haha, no worries, here's to help with the confusion. On the box, here's where to find the model and bands supported. In this case, my phone is RM-821 and the bands supported on my phone are GSM: 850/900/1900/2100 and LTE: 800/900/1800/2100/2600. Mine works perfectly fine here in the UK so as long as your phone bands match up, you will be fine :)
