Hi! I was given a Nokia Lumia 920 from a friend. It is brand new and unused. I'm just wondering, I was given the phone in Finland, would it work if I took it home to England and used it there?
as long as its unlocked then you should be fine. There are only 3 variants of the Lumia 920, one for the US (RM-820), the International model (RM-821), and the Chinese model (RM-822). If yours is the RM-821 version, you should have no problems. Check on the box to find out the product variant.
Hi, thanks for the replies. I cant see rm-*** anywhere on there box, but im assuming it is 821. As for the bands of the device, I have no idea what that means? Im quite the technophobe!
haha, no worries, here's to help with the confusion. On the box, here's where to find the model and bands supported. In this case, my phone is RM-821 and the bands supported on my phone are GSM: 850/900/1900/2100 and LTE: 800/900/1800/2100/2600. Mine works perfectly fine here in the UK so as long as your phone bands match up, you will be fine
