can't transfer songs

i have Lumia 620 and i tried to transfer some mp3 songs via USB. so i connected my cell phone with my PC which has windows xp installed and when i use Windows explorer i can't do that. i followed these Sync music, ringtones, and podcasts using my computer | Windows Phone How-to (United States) instructions but i couldn't do that. yesterday when i connected my phone to pc it showed me Lumia 620 folder and inside 4 subfolders, pictures, music and other 2, can't remember names and i couldn't do drag and drop. today it just show Lumia 620 folder and nothing else.
what should i do? pls help.

Instead of drag and drop try copy then paste.
