So my Lumia has dust in the FFC and in the proximity sensor, but I had opened it before, only to spray air duster in that area. I stripped the screws a TINY bit and I was wondering if anyone has sent their phone in and had it replaced in a condition like this, or if opening it voids the warranty. I know it technically does, but would they notice?

Any help would be appreciated

Depends on the country you are in too, if its a country like India I'd be worried that the techie on the other end might say "Sorry you opened it and I won't do anything now", whereas in countries like USA it may not be a big hurdle.

Why not give a try at a care center, if its in your favor that's cool, if not you can visit other care center always :).

But again, it all comes down to the care center guys, each one is different, I hope you know what am trying to say?
